Autodesk has started releasing 2012 version software

It is that time of the year again. Your subscription upgrades may already be on their way. Please not that Autodesk switched default subscription upgrades delivery last year from boxed to download. If you prefer to receive media, please modify your default delivery method via Subscription Centre ASAP.

Inventor Suites are getting bigger

This year round Autodesk is changing the structure of Inventor Suites. Changes in brief:

• Inventor Suite is replaced by Product Design Suite Premium (including Inventor®, AutoCAD® Mechanical, 3ds Max Design, Vault, Showcase, Sketchbook, Designer & Mudbox)
• Inventor Professional Suite is replaced by Product Design Suite Ultimate (includes Inventor® Professional, AutoCAD® Mechanical, 3ds Max Design, Alias Design, Vault, Showcase, Sketchbook, Designer & Mudbox)

All Inventor Suite 2011 users with active subscription will receive an upgrade to new Product Design Suite 2012 at no extra charge.
